New Horizons Counseling is a State Certified Domestic Violence Treatment Agency.  Our primary purpose is to stop violence and promote the safety and happines of family members.  This is accomplished by.

1. Stop emotional, physical, verbal and sexual abuse by a family member

2. Learn the dynamics of anger, violence and abuse, including patterns and cycles and make appropriate behaior changes to break these patterns and cycles

3. Become accountable for ones own behavior and stop blaming others including the victim, family members and "the system".

4. Learn hos current behavior is influenced by past experiences and ones belief system

5. Develop better communication skills and elevate self esteem
